Sack the City was started in 2008 by Kyle Wagoner, originally under the name "Project Sack the City". Intended as an acoustic side project. In 2009 A full band was introduced, there have been several member changes over the years and different experimentation's in sound. Lead by countless home recordings and demos, The Band's debut EP Nation Under Ghost was released in early 2012.
